2026 STL Summer Camp Welcome
Dear families,
Welcome to Sky’s The Limit Summer Camp! This camp will allow your children to “break away”, leaving them rejuvenated to return to the more diligent nature of structured activities during the school year. Our themed summer program will keep your child learning with an all-day, all- fun, active program. They are allowed the freedom to invent their own projects, are physically challenged, have a chance to learn new skills, and grow to love life. The schedule is flexible and offers enough security, independence, and stimulation to meet the needs of each child. We are excited you chose us to have the opportunity to spend time with your child and cannot wait to start!
Sincerely,
The Sky’s The Limit Staff
Philosophy
The Sky’s The Limit Summer Camp will provide an active learning and social environment in which a child is helped at his or her own level on ways to become more proficient. Each child will receive love, security, acceptance, values, self control, independence, protection, and guidance where staff try to involve a child in the excitement of staying active, continued learning, and a continued social environment.
The camp introduces various sports, physically-active games and overall wellness through daily fitness, nutrition, and educational lessons. Each week has a different theme to adapt different games, sports, activities, science experiments, art, and interactive activities that could include:
- Sports such as soccer, volleyball, tennis, basketball, whiffle ball, dodgeball, and kick ball to name a few.
- Games such as relay races, nature scavenger hunts, field day games.
- Art activities will correlate with the week’s theme
Through these activities, campers will enhance their agility, balance, coordination, social interaction, continued learning, and fun. These all will be achieved through:
- Kind social play
- Active environment
- Engaging activities
- Building problem solving abilities
- Develop self confidence
- Show emotional independence
- Broaden range of activity interest
- Encourage creativity
- Improve in overall skills for activities
- Establish positive health habits
- Know and follow simple safety rules
The Sky’s The Limit Summer Program is a pro-social program. Each day the schedule offers a wide variety of activities. Our program also includes free time play. Through play, a child works his/her way into joy, and into a more mature capable person, ready for the next step in his/her growing development.
